Thames (Real)

Thames (Real),The river on which Daniel Deronda frequently rows, and from which he rescues Mirah Cohen when she tries to drown herself. The Thames, which is the most important river in England, divides London in two portions. A stretch of the river above London extending to Hampton Court is a favourite place for boating excursions.
