Maskery, Will

A wheelwright who used to be a wild drunken fellwo beofre he became a Methodist. The name Maskery is one of the real names which George Eliot took from the neighbourhood of Ellastone, where her father, Robert Evans ("Adam Bede") lived as a young man.
