Baccio (Hist.)

Painter, who assisted at the Bonfire of Vanities. Fra Bartolommeo (Baccio della Porta, 1475-1517). A distinguished Florentine painter, and an adherent of Savonarola, after whose death he assumed the Dominican habit. He painted the well-known portrait of Savonarola.
