Engineer, who had provided the huge drapery in the Piazza del Duomo for the Midsummer Day celebration. Francesco d'Angelo, called La Cecca (1447-1488), a famous Florentine engineer who devised ingenious machinery and elaborate decorations for the Midsummer Day and other great festivals and processions.
