Description

Son of Bernardo Cennini, the first printer of Florence; a goldsmith and printer with whom Tito Melema banks the money which he obtains from the sale of his rings. Domenico Cennini, goldsmith, born 1452, who in 1470-71 co-operated with his father, Bernar doCennini, in the printing of the Commentary on Virgil. George Eliot describes him as the eleder brother, but he was seven years younger than Pietro.
