Domenico, Fra (Hist.)

A Dominican brother of San Marco, Savonarola's lieutenant. When the Franciscan Fra Francesco challenges Savonarola to the Trial by Fire, Fra Domenico enthusiastically takes up the challenge. He is the Dominican representative in the Trial by Fire and later is one of the Dominicans arrested with Savonarola and executed with him. Fra Domenico Bonvicini da Pescia, the loyal friend and coadjutor of Savonarola, who was exectured with Savonarola.
