Ghirlandajo, Domenico (Hist.)

A great painter who "was making the walls of the churches reflect the life of Florence." Domenico Curradi Ghirlandajo (1449-1494), a Florentine artist who was trained as a goldsmith but later became a painter. He painted principally frescoes in Florence.
