Description
A learned man who prescribes for Bardo de' Bardi the wearing of certain rings as a cure for numbness. Camillo Leonardo (or Camillus Leonardus), of Pesaro, an astronomer and physician of the latter part of the fifteenth century. He wrote several books, especially one entitled Speculum lapidum (first ed. 1502), a work on precious stones, their history, properties, virtues against disease, etc.
