Ridolfi, Giovan Battista (Hist.)

A disciple of Savonarola; younger brother of Niccolo Ridolfi. Giovan Battista di Luigi Ridolfi, a member of Savonarola's party, was temporarily alienated by his brother's execution but later returned to his allegiance. He was very prominent at a later date, was ambassador to Venice, and to the Pope, and in 1512 Gonfaloniere of Justice.
