Scala, Alessandra (Hist.)

The beautiful and learned daughter of Bartolommeo Scala, who is one of the guests at the betrothal of Romola and Tito Melema. Alessandra Scala (1450- 1506), a poetess and author of some Greek epigrams, who made an enemy of Poliziano by refusing to marry him.
