Valla, Lorenzo (Hist.)

A scholar on whose Latin translation of Thucydides Bardo de' Bardi had made many notes. Lorenzo Valla (c. 1406-57), Apostolic secretary under Nicholas V, for whom he made a Latin translation of Thucydides.
