Armgart

A great prima donna. In the first flush of her success as a singer, she means to give up all for her art, and refuses the offer of marriage of Graf Dornberg. A year later after a serious illness she loses her voice, but the Graf does not renew his offer. Without her art Armgart is at first in despair, but takes up her life anew, resolved to live for others.
