Vaiano, Maestro

The mountebank, from whom Tito Melema rescues Tessa. He performs the mock marriage ceremony for Tessa and Tito, and later, disguised as a contadina, plays on the doctor, Maestro Tacco, the trick described in the chapter "The Florentine Joke".
