Reckoning by the days of the week, it was this day last year my loneliness began. I spent the day in the room where I passed through the first three months. I read his letters, and packed them together, to be buried with me. Perhaps that will happen before next November.

Sent £50 to Mr. Balfour for Dr. Roy.
