I shall be glad to fulfil any wish of yours, and in token of my sincerity, I will ask you to let me know beforehand whenever you like to bring Miss Craig, 204 that I may save you from the labour of coming so far in vain.
In these short afternoons I might, without notice, be out during all the daylight interval between lunch and darkness.
