It made me rather sad to part with you in the moonlight, in that abrupt way, after you had come so far to pay us a short visit -- sad to know that you were carrying away with you from London the same burthen of anxiety that you had brought to it. Let me hear when there is any sort of turn in affairs, and believe always in the truthful friendship of yours ever
