Dear Friend
I shall be very much obliged to you if you will talk to my brother about the investment you mention, since you are so good as to be willing to take this trouble for my sake. Isaac is always at the King's Head 554 on Friday to transact business, and I enclose a letter 555 to him introducing the subject, which letter you can perhaps send to the King's Head, unless you think it the best plan to call on him at once and give it to him, in which case he can have no opportunity or pretext for deferring the matter. You have always accused me of preferring words to deeds, but I assure you I am old and wise enough now to prefer such deeds as yours to all the sweet words that have ever been uttered to me.
