Dear Friend
I shall be delighted to see you next Tuesday in all the copiousness of your "flesh." I am even for once glad to hear of the said copiousness, because I have noticed that anxiety makes you thin, and if you are not so, I hope I may take that as a proof that business is not desperate.
I thought it right to let you know the worst side of Gerald Massey, for his sake as well as yours, for Atheneums and Savage Landors can only lead him to perdition. 449 Otherwise I should be sorry to expose a "fellow-sinner."
