My dear Mr. Darwin
We shall be very happy to see Mr. and Mrs. Litchfield 177 on any Sunday when it is convenient to them to come to us. Our hours of reception are from 'bd past two till six, and the earlier our friends can come to us, the more fully we are able to enjoy conversation with them.
Please do not disappoint us in the hope that you will come to us again, and bring Mrs. Darwin with you, the next time you are in town.
Yours most sincerely
M. E. Lewes.
