The Priory, | 21. North Bank, | Regents Park.
Sunday Evening.
Dear Mr. Deutsch
Since I have not seen you today, I must send a line to thank you for remembering me and giving me the possibility of going to the Royal Institution on Friday. 760 You had not a more anxious, sympathetic listener than I was. Indeed, I was too anxious to be able to judge of the effect on outsiders who listened with more indifference.
Pray don't forget Wednesday evening -- we are going away so very soon. In haste
Yours ever truly
M. E. Lewes.
