My dear Mr. Deutsch
Mr. Lewes rejoices in my having such a privilege as that you offer me. If you can really spare me some time every week, we think the plan that will impose the least g'eane on you will be, that you should choose each week the evening which suits you best. When you can come to dine with us, send me a note the evening before, so that I may have enough dinner for three: when you can only come in the evening, there is no need to send word, because I never go out -- the other evening being an exception such as occurs perhaps once a year.
If you are thinking of a change of abode, why not take into consideration the advantages of this N. W. region? It is very healthy, there is a wider sky, and there are stations of the Underground Railway at short distances from each other. In a word, it is detestable; but less detestable than most parts of London and its suburbs.
