Dear Mr. Harrison
I am deeply obliged to you for the full and lucid paper you have written me.
By going back and altering a detail or two in what I wrote some time ago, I think I shall be able to make out all I want, by using the possibility of exchange between Sir H. and G. 272
I suppose that the possible son whose rights cannot be infringed does not disappear from the legal scene until the death of the possible father, who if one wife died could marry any number of wives in succession. He is rather troublesome to me. But I hope that through your kindness I may be able to understand what were the family affairs of my personages -- for such understanding is necessary to my comfort, if not to the true relation of that part of their history which I undertake to write. Always
