May 2. 79.
My dear Mr. Blackwood
I have just received a letter (which I enclose) from Baron Tauchnitz, and have replied to the effect that I have left the business arrangements about my book entirely to you, and that he must therefore apply to you on the matter. Pray answer him just as you think best.
Son Charles begs me to ask that you will order an early copy of Theophrastus to be sent to him. He has not seen a syllable of it beyond the title page.
Yours always truly
M. E. Lewes.
