Dearest Nephew
When I say that I am delighted with the delicate azalias and deep pansies (pens'e9es) I am showing myself a very greedy person. Ought I to be glad that so much falls to my share? I fear the only excuse for my having these flower-feasts would be that I was lame with lumbago 603 -- whereas I am nearly well today and have been enjoying a long drive and walk in the milder air.
