GE to Joseph Munt Langford, London, 7 January 1874
MS: Mrs. Dorothy Hicks. Hitherto unpublished.
The Priory, | 21. North Bank, | Regents Park.
January 7. 74.
Dear Mr. Langford
I am very much obliged to you for the trouble you have kindly taken in getting my little volume 7 bound with this desired but hardly hoped-for speed. The taste shown in the selection of binding is perfect, and seems to cast a charitable mantle over my small productions, giving them grace enough for presentation to a dear friend.
All good wishes for the New Year from
Yours very sincerely
M. E. Lewes.
