Friday Night.
Dear Friends
I am not well -- all out of sorts -- and what do you think I am minded to do? Take a return ticket and set off by the train to-morrow 245 12 o'clock, have a talk with you and a blow over the [hill,] and come back betimes on Monday. I the rather indulge myself in this because I think I shall not be able to be with you until some time after Christmas. Pray forgive me for not sending you word before. I have only just made up my mind.
Ever your affectionate
Marian.
