I have just received the sad news that the jewel of a servant who was to have made us comfortable, has been prevailed on by her mistress (at Bath) to stay again.
Is there Balm in Gilead? 36 In other words, is there a servant in your neighbourhood who would like a place near London? A servant of high character and with the general knowledge of the "general servant." We would give high wages. 37 Alas -- I fear you will say no, or perhaps say nothing at all, which will be equivalent to no. Help me if you can.
