My dear Fanny
I have written to you all twice and have heard nothing in return. Surely this must be my fault in not giving more precise directions about the address of my letters. I am very, very anxious to hear of you, but I am discouraged to write by post until I have some intimation that you care about me enough to write. The day after tomorrow I part from my friends and take up my abode at Geneva where I hope that rest and regular occupation will do more for my health and spirits than travelling has proved able to do. 798
Mr. Bray will put this note into the post for me, and I hope will see you soon and give your particulars about my temporary home. By and bye when I am better, I will write fully to you. In the meantime write to me, Poste Restante, Gen'eave. Now that I am at a distance from you I feel more than ever
