I too was sorry, dear Figliuolina, because that was my only chance of seeing you this summer.
We leave town on the 31st -- for Cambridge in the first instance, but from thence to our country refuge in Surrey.
I was a little comforted about you by hearing from Miss E. Smith that you were really in better bodily condition. But I should have valued the opportunity of a leisurely t'eate-'e0-t'eate.
