September 26. 78.
My dear Mrs. Greville
I should have called again long ago to ask about you, but that our Horse has fallen lame, and we have been confined to a narrow home circuit of walks. 463 I was glad to have the assurance that you were so far better as to be able to drive out. When my imprisonment is at an end I shall call to know more about you.
Always yours affectionately
