My dear Madam
The indisposition which prevented me from seeing you the other day has hindered me from writing to you sooner.
We are always at home on Sundays between 2 o'clock and 5. I hope that time may not be inconvenient to you. On other days I am rarely at home till 4 o'clock.
It would give Mr. Lewes much pleasure to see his old friend Mr. Brookfield, if in these busy days it were easy to come so far north. 710 I remain, dear Madam,
Yours sincerely
M. E. Lewes.
