Your letter was a welcome after-glow of the pleasure we had in our visit to Eton. 636 I am very much obliged to you for sending me the pretty, handy volume of Greek poetry. 637 Apropos of the passage which poor Mr. Arnold is accused of mistranslating, I have not his article at hand to refer to, but these parenthetic words are of disputable and disputed meaning. 638 You see, I have a fellow feeling for writers, who may be taxed unfairly, etc.
