Tuesday Morning.
Dear Sara
I have been ill and chiefly in bed ever since Friday, and yesterday 233 especially I was a wretch after a night of racking headache. Otherwise I should have written to you. I did think of you.
The chrysanthemums and mignonette were very sweet to me in every sense -- or rather I may say to the inward and the outward sense.
Ever your true
Pollian.
