The Priory | March 20.
Dear Sara
Herewith I waft you a kiss and send you an autograph of Sir John Herschel, 239 which you may like to add to your collection.
We run off to Scotland for the Easter week, setting out on Sunday evening, so if the Spring runs away again, I hope it will run northward.
I have not seen or heard anything of Cara. If you are writing to her this week, please tell her that we go away on Sunday and shall return on Monday the 4th of April. 240 Some news of your inwards and outwards would be acceptable, but don't write unless you really like to write.
Ever thine
Pollian.
You see Strauss has come out with a popular Life of Jesus? 241
