Dear Sara
I am so glad to hear that you are happy in your children. 645 I shall be interested in everything you can tell me about Frank's development under your care. What provision is there for poor Lizzie Bray 646 now?
Thanks for the report of Dr. Lankester's lecture 647 which I return because it is so neatly pasted together that you will like to keep it.
I have just finished a long article on Heine for the W.R. 648 which none of you will like. En revanche, Mr. Lewes has written one on Lions and Lionhunters, 649 which you will find amusing. Mr. Ch. applied to him in the eleventh hour, in distress because some expected articles were not forthcoming.
The joke you inquired about in one of your letters is imbedded in a play which would have appeared at the Olympic before this but for a terrible illness of poor Mrs. Wigan. 650
