Dear Sara
I hope you are enjoying repose in your nest after your flight. Any news of you and your fellow birds will be acceptable. I shall be glad to hear that Cara is well -- free from tooth and head ache -- and that Mr. Bray is happy in his editing etc. Is Harry come or coming back?
I am jolly; much the better for the air of this lovely place, which is growing into my affections. There is one of the prettiest of villages near here -- Southboro' -- with smooth-shaven green and wooded slopes and nothing ugly within sight or hearing.
I am rather longing for some sea-breezes however, and may run off to Hastings or St. Leonard's which lie temptingly in a line with the station here. The frightful expense of this place is one motive for leaving it. The Bournemouth party is gone to Stonehenge 350 this week.
