March 6. 80.
My dear Mr. William
I enclose the two accounts, about which I am rather compunctious that I give you trouble, the difference being chiefly that in the one I see more easily the number of copies actually distributed.
You feel, I hope, relieved of a burthen now that Mr. Langford's business is accomplished. But do not think it necessary to write to me about these accounts of mine. I only send them because I should like the one for 1878 to serve as a type in future.
Always yours sincerely
M. E. Lewes.
