MS: Yale. Hitherto unpublished.
Wednesday 26th. On Monday we moved out of Holly Lodge, sending the greater part of our chattels to the Pantechnicon. It was a wearisome day and we were glad to get to bed a little after 8. We lunched with the Congreves. On Tuesday our books three bookcases and such goods as were needed in the new home arrived and had to be set in order. This occupied us till past three; we then took Pug out for a smell airing in the Park and were much pleased with the prospect of walks before us. To-day after breakfast we gave the finishing touch to our arrangement of books. I wrote some letters and pottered.
