This evening an unpleasant letter came from Blackwood announcing that he thought my '91Physiology for Schools'92 a mistake. Two of his men, conversant with schoolbooks had read it and pronounce it not a book for schools. He proposes to issue it as '91First Steps in Physiology'92 -- but to this I objected and desired him to quash the thing altogether.
