Mi caro Poeta
On Wednesday Tom Trollope and his wife are coming to stay 'aba couple of days'bb till Friday morning with us. If not disagreeable to you, and if you are not otherwise engaged we should like to give them the treat of seeing you. We could come on Thursday 460 after your snooze, and if you were perfectly amiable you might read one or two short poems to us -- but that is a suggestion not to be whispered to any one else!
Yours truly
G. H. Lewes.
