My dear Pigott
One cause after another has delayed our expedition 452 but as we shall be here next Saturday I hope you and Redford are disengaged on that day and can run down.
As I am very busy I will ask you to come by the 3.15 train from Waterloo to Putney (same price as Wandsworth and much pleasanter route), and if you will promise to come by that train I will come and meet you and take you a walk to reach this. 453 If you can't undertake to be punctual -- this is your route:
On coming up the Putney steps turn sharp round to your left and continue down the lane, the 2nd turning on the right will bring you to Holly Lodge, which is the last house but three near the Park. 454
