Your approbation of my article on Dwarfs and Giants is very flattering. 296 I do not think of reprinting the papers, which are rather suggestions on the subject than final conclusions.
With respect to the method of comparative physiology to which you allude I am profoundly convinced that Gall was on the right track and that he laid the basis of a positive psychology, but my own opportunities have been too limited for me to arrive at much in this direction; and indeed I think our knowledge of the nervous system generally is still too incomplete for more than approximative conclusions. Believe me dear Sir
