The Bowens are coming to lunch next Sunday at 1.30. 134 Is it probable that the fascinations of the hateful Stopford Brooke 135 will permit a certain person to accompany you, and make up a cozy party on that occasion? I assume that you are disponible and willing. If Rosamund writes to Sir Godfrey on the matter you have full permission (from me) to beat her! 136
