My dear Sir
By this post, registered, I send more m.s. and should be much pleased if you could put on the steam so as to have the sheets ready by the end of this month because I want the proofs to be read by a friend before he leaves town. Unless we hurry a little the book will not be out this year. You need not send Prof. Tait the proofs -- unless I specially name it -- because they have nothing mathematical and it is needless to trouble him with them.
