I should be glad if you would tell the printers to send proofs of the Goethe to Herrn F. A. Brockhaus 129 | Leipzig | as they are got ready.
We have just returned from a Christmas visit to country friends whose excessive hospitality has unhappily given Mrs. Lewes a fit of indigestion and the long drives a touch of face neuralgia. May your festivities have no such results!
