My dear Blackwood
By this post I send parts 2 and 3 of copy of the Physiology. The two are sent together because, as they are of unequal length and I know not how to estimate fairly what they will print, I think it best to have the whole set up, and then we can divide properly.
What Mr. Simpson says of the trade expectation is very cheering. If the book succeeds at all it will doubtless succeed well and be a permanent thing.
Thank you for the copy of Alison's Physiology which I carried off the other day from Paternoster Row. I grieve to hear of the afflicted state of the admirable Professor. 413
