My dear Blackwood
By this post I forward part III of Clerical Scenes, which I have just read with absorbing interest. The drama becomes terrible.
I also send Sea-Side Studies. But fearing to make the paper as long as the last -- which I think was too long -- I have left out some interesting points for a final short paper. Owen 944 says the professional as well as the unprofessional public will be instructed by my papers -- a very pretty sentence, don't you think so?
I fear my letter did not reach you in time, and that Maga is travelling to Gorey in search of me.
