My dear Blackwood
By this post goes the revise. I don't know who Mr. Brown is, but I am much obliged to him for his useful suggestions -- as indeed I shall always be to any one. No matter how much trouble, the nearer we can get to satisfying the wants of the public the better.
Please send me a copy -- no matter how rough -- as soon as one is fairly ready. I have already two German Publishers wanting the right of translation, and to one of them I wish to send the number as a specimen.
Is Alison's Physiology 412 going through the press? Do you think the Professor would let me see his sheets as they are worked off? I shall be glad to have the benefit of them and glad to be able to quote them on occasion.
