St. Mary's | Scilly | Thursday.
My dear Blackwood
By this post I forward the last part of Eliot's story, 833 as he requests. The Magazines sent to Richmond are on their way here and Eliot must wait for his with what patience he may.
By next post, which will be Monday, I shall send you a paper, 834 rather more amusing than the last I hope. I should have sent it by this post, but am waiting to complete a set of experiments on the digestive powers of the Anemones.
I continue charmed with this place: its entire solitude is delightful. We are looked on as strange animals by the natives; but everyone is very obliging.
Every yours faithfully
G. H. Lewes.
