Dear Huxley
The gorilla came was refused admittance told I was busy -- persisted and said he came about a matter concerning Prof. Huxley -- was then admitted -- produced his impression -- and carried off my ready assent to the republication a month hence. M. Barbier also came and received permission of course. 691
My mother (aged 75 692) is delighted with your sermon 693 and foresees a change in Religion coming.
We are going out of town for 2 or 3 weeks after that we hope you will have a Sunday to give us.
